Not a problem buddy. I just placed an order.
Health & Fitness Systems Protein Powder, i guess kids can use this protein powder? My son is in rep hockey and protein after a game, will using this product help with muscle repair? What are the flavours? what flavour you used to make the pina colada? Thanks for your blog.
Hi Trixie,
Yes our blend of protein is great for kids….especially because their appetites are hit and miss. Athletic kids will find many benefits using our protein -to help repair the muscle fibres after exercise or a game. They will recover quicker and have better, sustained energy.
The pina colada shake had:
1 scoop of our vanilla protein
half a banana cut up and about 1/2 cup of pineapple(fresh or frozen)
250ml water —you could add some unsweetened almond milk to make it creamier
ice(optional)
blend and enjoy!!!
All 3 of my kids have a shake everyday!!
I tried a new shake recipe that I enjoyed immensely! If you love pumpkin pie…and I do…you’ll love this one:
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk COLD!!
1 scoop Carrie’s protein shake
1/4 cup unsweetened pumpkin puree
2 drops vanilla extract
1 tsp natural honey
LOTS OF CINNAMON!!!
Blend it and it honest to goodness tastes like pumpkin pie in a glass
I finally got my husband to try the shakes, and now he’s hooked!! This is his favourite recipe:
Reese Peanut Butter Shake:
1 cup COLD unsweetened chocolate almond milk
1/2 banana cut into slices
1 Tbsp natural or low fat peanut butter
Blend and Enjoy!!!
It has lots of flavour, its creamy, and it keeps you full!!
Reese Peanut Butter Shake:
I forgot to mention: Add 1 scoop of Carrie’s protein powder….of course!
Those are awesome shake ideas!!! I bet a dash of nutmeg in the pumpkin pie shake would be good too!!! Way to go Connie!!! Thanks for sharing!!

Unfortunately, when you walk into your local health food store to purchase a whey protein powder, you will probably be expecting a qualified sales person who knows all about the products on the shelf. What you will actually – most likely – encounter is a teenager who doesn’t know the first thing about body building, much less the products on the shelf in the store where he or she works. They are just there for the minimum wage paycheck. Even if the sales person is qualified to answer your questions, they represent their company – not you – and will suggest the product that nets them the highest profit, instead of the product that is going to net you the most benefit. .
